Hello everyone..(hears crickets of slience) It's me Van, (the Duo vers Pirates comic).

First off, I have to apologize for not being around, but life has thrown some cruel punches lately.

I have been diganosed with Major Depression and Anixety disorder. A year back I had a major nervious break down and had to go to a hospital which specializes in these conditions.  Yes, a mental hospital.  Yay...just what I need...for people think I'm more crazy than I am. But it was a good thing.  I had major thoughts of susicide and the like and that break down was the major RED SIGN that things had to get done. But my experience at the hospital wasn't bad.  Infact it was quite nice. They divided us into two groups. One group were people like me, just dealing with chemical imbalances and trying to find ways to cope with life and the other group....let's just say I feel very sorry for these people.

I had lost my job and got into a car accident and for a couple of months now things have been pretty sucky.
Which is why the comic was such on a long hiatus.
That and with the lack of internet, I couldn't really be on the board as much as I wanted to.

But enough about that, I'm doing much better, got a new job (though it's just watressing) Still with my beau and I'm starting my own business with art's and craft stuff.

I have NOT forgotten my comic.  However, geocities has now closed down completely and I may have find a new place to put them once I get back on the horse on web comic creation.

And since now I have plenty of sources for internet usage, I'll should be here more often.

Sorry I wasn't around, but I'm here now!

Hi, Boogie Knight (miss all our conversations!) ,  Tadanori Oyama, and Gilgamesh.

P.S Apologies foward if this is in the wrong thread. ^_^

I'm delighted to hear that you've returned in spite of all that've been laid on your table. Best of luck with your entreprenuierial endeavor.

Geocities shutting down has been something of a disaster for the CCA, but we've been able to persevere. The new practise is to post the panels themselves, though if one owns their own site they still have the option of linking to updated pages. I've been working on a new episode of my series and made a oneshot following the new standard, as well as those made by a new member called OperativeXIII.

You know I just thought about that as well.  Most of us here used Geocities.  Is it just me or is it really that the  free web hosting sites  are disappearing?
As for the project. That sounds awesome.  I got a lot of catching up to do.  Haven't read the updated comics yet. Once again I'm guessin' it Yahoo fault.

Wait!  Speaking of Yahoo.  Didn't Gilgemesh and Ash do a comic about them.  I think they where having server trouble.  Can't remember...it's been a while since I re-read it.

But getting to my main point is that this would be a particular topic to make fun of (again) Yahoo's decision of chuckin out Geocites.

It's a comic Idea I could start with, unless this was already done and I just don't know it.

And yeah I'm glad things are getting better, regardless if we just found out we may be evicted out of apparent soon. Troubled times my friend troubled times. If I didn't mention that both he and I lost our jobs about a week from each other?

Hey MG!  How's it going?  I know what you mean about delays. But one could blame LIFE for that. I"m catching up on some of the comics though. Sucks that Geocites went down.
