Okay this isn't a "real" anime, but it's being added to GTA IV's in-game TV. It's... pretty embarassing how accurate a parody this is.

GTA definitely needs to get back to its more humorous and colorful roots, the recent editions just beg to have the characters' pictures defaced in crayon by the Joker and "Why So Serious?" scrawled around them. If they did that and got rid of all the Second-Life crap they've been shoveling into the game I'd fly back to them in a heartbeat. As it is, though, I'll stick with good ol' Saint's Row 2, thank you very much.

But I digress, this pseudo-anime could definitely catch on within to otaku community. Allusions in fan work, AMVs, perhaps even cosplays. The more I think about it, the more I find myself wishing this was a real anime.
