Okay I think I finally found a theme we can be comfortable with. I'm in the middle of playing around with the logo but I've reached the point where it'll be hard to make progress without actually testing it so I went ahead and installed the new theme.

Heh, this is actually better.  Easier on the eyes to view.  If there is a way to make that image at the top to reflect our work I can probably whip something up.

I think this version looks pretty good, I think we have a keeper.

Okay, new logo's finally done, for now. In case anyone's wondering what that background is, I've always had a thing for the Guilin mountains of Southern China, even longer than I've been a Street Fighter fan.

When I get sick of looking at the current lineup I'll probably mix things up with "themes" such as the most popular CCA antagonists (Kuja, The Collector, Ayane, etc) or most-frequently-used supporting characters (Leon & Morrigan are obvious picks, plus others like Cloud and Alucard).

That's a truly nice banner, you've really put effort into sprucing up the forum and it shows. I'm sincerly impressed with the job you did. For an alternate theme, what about the many deaths of Charlie? And big ups to G-Man for his help.

Beautiful banner up there, with some of CCA's strongest voices of reason; though the overly anime-esque Tifa seems a wee bit out of place beside the other three.

Background is da shit too; always loved them mountains and aspire to climb several of them before my back gives out.

Be nice to have a series of banners that constantly switch amongst themselves every time we log in or something (though a nut like me has no idea how that is done).

Maybe one of the CCA masters (Gil baking muffins and the other CCA members lining up to get them); another with the CCA's clown cast (Dan, Charlie, etc); one purely of Charlie in multiple death sequences flanked by anguished close-ups of Sakura and Cammy; one of Laharl's entire squad at an airport with a tired Boogie in the back carrying their luggage; one of a taxi being chased by Andy being chased by Mai being chased by Vegeta being chased by Bulma ... or whatever.

Is updating the "look" going to be a constant project now?

A randomly-generated image, obviously, would require a whole new script and I'm not going near that with a ten-foot pole, so for the time being I'm just going to change it whenever I feel like it.

I actually really like that picture of Tifa. It may not have as much shading as the other four but nearly all the other artwork of Tifa out there, especially in her AC outfit, is in CG form and that would have stuck out much, much worse.
